Extend the South West Rail Link to Western Sydney Airport

The South West Rail Link opened in 2015 from Glenfield to Leppington as the backbone of future Sydney Trains Network connection with Western Sydney Airport (Terminal). Yet both the Commonwealth Government and NSW Government are now forsaking this critical infrastructure link in lieu of the wasteful conversion of the line into Metro.

Extending the South West Rail Link from Leppington to Western Sydney Airport provides the shortest route to the new Western Sydney Airport (Terminal) and direct connections to other parts of Sydney including City Circle, Central, Sydney Airport, Parramatta, Bankstown. The government proposal for Metro from Glenfield to Aerotropolis falls short of Western Sydney Airport (Terminal) and fail to provide an integrated rail network for Greater Sydney.
